Allegheny Energy Going Green (or trying to make the Monongahela green)

cluelessandconfused1

The first clueless and confused article this week goes to …. Allegheny Energy …. yaaay!!!

Allegheny Energy’s answer to getting pollutants out of the air – stick ’em in the Monongahela River so 90,000 people can get pretty green glowing water from their taps. The toxic soup would be coming from their Hatfield’s Ferry plant.

Now, SWB in no way lays claim to bring the smartest guy in the world, but … he’s not clueless enough to think that *sticking the gunk in the water isn’t polluting, but sticking it in the air is*. BTW … keep in mind that the state issued water discharge permit helps them do this.

Anyway …. here is an article from the Post-Gazette for your reading pleasure.

PS – If this goes though, Allegheny Energy will probably raise your rates to cover for the lawsuits you will bring on them from getting cancer from the toxic waste they will pump into the river.  Enjoy the extra limbs, eyes, noses, etc.
